Overview

Itinerary
You will be greeted by our driver in Malang/ Surabaya (Hotel/ Airport/ Train Station) and drive to Pronojiwo village for stay overnight in hotel near of Tumpaksewu waterfall. Check-in at your hotel and the remainder of your time will be free.

In the morning after breakfast, depart for a splashing trek at Tumpak sewu waterfall. Here, you will discover the most beautiful waterfall on the Java island. Tumpak Sewu means "a thousand stacks." The name comes from the shape of the waterfall, which is composed of stacks and numerous streams, so that it resembles a huge white carpet.
To reach the bottom of the waterfall, you must descend the valley at an altitude of 500 meters. From the bottom of the valley, you can admire the beauty of this 120-meter-long waterfall, and if you're lucky, a rainbow will appear from the meeting of sunlight and the splashes of the waterfall.
After a beautiful trek to the Tumpaksewu and several neighbour waterfalls , return to the hotel for packing, then drive to the village near of Mount Bromo for stay overnight. Check in to the hotel in the village which is predominantly Hindu. Impressive view of the Tengger ethnic village.

At 4am, departure by Jeep which takes you to the foot of Mt. Bromo. A night climb of one kilometer and 182m of positive elevation gain passing the sea of sand and finishing with the stairs of 254 steps before reaching the crater of the living mountain, Bromo. Here, you observe the breathtaking sunrise accompanied by the sound of the crater which never stops and a view of magma before the sun illuminates the earth.
After enjoying the sunrise, go back down to the sea of sand to take the jeep which takes you after on the caldera to the Seruni viewpoint for observe all the mountains surrounding. It is a breathtaking view of Mount Bromo, Batok, Widodaren which are all in the Tengger caldera and in decoration the Semeru volcano like a back ground.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and packing before continuing the long drive to Banyuwangi. Arrive at the end of the day and check in your hotel near Kawah Ijen
*Mount Bromo has become a popular destination. It's crowded almost every day, and tourists always follow the same route, including seeing the sunrise from Mount Penanjakan and then going to the summit of Mount Bromo.
Depending on your circumstances, we recommend a tour in the opposite direction, such as the one mentioned below, to avoid mass tourism.

Wake up at 1am and depart by jeep to Paltuding, the starting point of trekking of Mount Merapi with its crater called KAWAH IJEN. "Kawah" means crater in Indonesian.
The hike is of moderate difficulty, 3km by foot for 500 meters of elevation gain to the summit. Sulfur vapors can be annoying depending on the wind. You arrive at the summit and enjoy breathtaking landscapes that are revealed as the mist dissipates and the color of the turquoise lake in the crater whose water is the most acidic on the planet. From the crater come back men smiling and loaded with approximately 70kg of sulfur that they collect to resell to the private company that takes care of the mine, they are paid by the weight of sulfur they are carried.
You will return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower before crossing by ferry to the paradise island of Bali. You will be taken to your hotel in Bali.
*Kawah Ijen is closed to visitors every Friday of the first week of the month due to environmental cleanup activities.
For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to descend into the Kawah Ijen crater or the sulfur mining area.
